Anyone solved the funding problem for 2357 course

So I am stuck, The college say that they will see this month if they will be any funding.... which we all know it won't come. I have been job hunting, been offered jobs, just one catch I am not driving. I have been doing my driving lessons but it may be too late. Anyone got any advice on what I can do for funding or what I can do for next coming year as I don't want to sit around? £5000 is too much .... the government are meant to be giving peoples skills which are lacking in this country.... so they hire foreign which they is flooding this country.

its all in the hands of the gov I am afraid. they pulled the plug on funding for the courses a while ago and it does not look like it will be coming back any time soon. there are different places that may well be able to draw down other funding through different things but its a matter of finding them. also if your not currently in the traade or employed unless you get a sponsor to say you are going to work for them they may well not let you on the course. do you have any other quals ?

i've just been given funding from my college to do the NVQL3 2356 now i have an employer, when i signed up to the "apprenticeship" there was a young lad there straight from school who was signing up to the 2357. I was not aware of any funding cuts?
