Hi

In a change from the usual type of post here, does anyone use battery angle grinders to trim the tiles?

If so, are they any good, given that the work (I suppose) is light!!!?

What makes do you use and can you recommend?

Or would you recommend a 110V version + trailing cables etc.

I use a Bosch cordless grinder. Cost is very high in comparison to corded versions and is obviously not as powerful but without any trailing leads is far safer! I have 2 batteries so 1 is always on charge and if you use a diamond cutting disc you don't notice the loss of power so much. Hope this helps.

I use the milwaukee V28 cordless angle grinder. I use it for cable tray and trunking etc. so don't know what it would be like on tiles but it is a great tool and batteries are brilliant.
