Just a quick one.

On the LOOP range can the meter test circuits with RCD's.

I believe its the same as the Kewtech KT 62 and thats supposed to not trip RCD's when set on the 200 or 2000 ohms range.

Its only a backup second meter so Im just finding my way with it.

Thanks

Tony

I was lead to believe if you ve got set on the wrong range the result is nt correct?
Iv got that meter but iv had the use of a fluke with no trip.
I got the same results with both meters, But i let the robin trip it.
as there isnt a no trip option.

Thanks.

It works spot on however in the Kewtech manual it states that on the 200 and 2000 ohms loop it only puts out 15mA so the RCD won't trip.

I have reverted to the old way and isolated the cct linked the line cpc and tested from the CU.

I remember someone posting something about a D lock on this type of MFT but can't find anything about it.

Thanks again matt
