Hi everyone my first post here, and I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I'm debating whether to go back to college, or what courses I need to do since the course numbers have all changed & quite frankly I'm a bit confused.
My qualifications are...

City & Guilds part 1
City & Guilds part 2
GNVQ level 2
GNVQ level 3
City & Guilds 2391
AM1 and AM2
BS7671 C&G 16th Regulation
BS7671 C&G 17th Regulation

I never started the higher HNC Part 3 Course (at the time) but was thinking of looking to do one of those short C&G Electrical design courses to freshen up and maybe give me more options in my senior years on the other hand I'm unsure if it will be a waste of money as I remember doing quite a bit in my Part 2...
I' appreciate any feedback or recommendations on this as the more I read the more concerned that someone that has completed a short intensive course could (on paper) be more qualified then me.
Thanks in advance.

After 18 years of being employed working in and Industrial as well as Domestic. I'm looking to go out on my own, I have quite a few contact's but If all else fails it' nice to know that your qualifications are recognzed, and you have options.

Other reason I asked is I spoke to the JIB about getting a Gold card. They said I have the qualifications for an "Approved grade" but said I'd have to have a standard for at least 2 years first. I don't
really understand their logic I did one of their JIB apprenticeships but never applied for a card. I think the £30 went on cigarettes and alcohol.
