Does anyone have experience of fitting or performance of these systems?

Several manufacturers including Worcester Bosch supply. I am very twitchy as to the efficacy of this solution. They look attractive especially where the thermal performance of the building is poor. However this is the very situation where poor performance etc would mean the customer would never get their money back and would be better off sticking with gas (in this case LPG).

Speak to the gas guys on the Plumbers forum and none of the good ones will touch worcester bosch :) The Daikin one looks a better offer.

We've got bi-valent Vaillant GSHP Vaillant LPG Ecotec up and running for one customer. The design and integration is critical to getting a good CoP and some have good methods of controlling the bi-valent point others not so good.

We work with one ASHP supplier where the control panel includes the actual tariff that the clinet pays so the systme can dynamically change the bi-valent point.

Even then you have two options - hand over or assist and the maths gets quite interesting then.

Chose a good one to get good results.
