"D" ??? Sorry MrShine what does the reference "D" refer to? can't find it on the post you posted.

So you need to decide which circuits will be at the fuse board(s). So if they are hotel rooms you might have a little 2 way consumer unit fed from the main db. one circuit for lights and the other for sockets (this way it wouldn't effect other hotel rooms).

Could also mention RCBOs, dual RCDs etc... plenty of ways it could be done.

Perhaps I'm massively out of touch, but wasn't there a time when the C&G question setters would have known the difference between 'effect' and 'affect'?

Sorry, that's not helpful. The way circuits are laid out, which points they serve, how they are supplied and any other major pieces of information that would guide an installer.

Iv Had the same assignment. You will need to keep the lighting/power circuits separate for each room. If you look there is a riser outside (in between) each room.

Place a distribution board in each which will supply the 2 rooms attached.

It worked for us all.

I think the are asking you to show a Distribution board arrangement with circuit numbers. If you add a circuit number next to the sockets and show a DB schedule it will show them how you intend to wire the power circuits.
