Hello guys

has anyone been and worked in Australia, i only ask this because i am part of Londons younger generation who can buy a box room of a flat for 300K, if your not a property owner your done for basically.
i only ask because i earn 50k and I find the London property market to be a scary one to commit to at a young age, moving further out i may as well move country.
I know a potential holiday will be needed but with that anyone have any experience, i am not concerned with obtaining the A licences and grafting to get accreditation.

I feel your pain... I'm looking to move and what you get for your money is scary.

I travelled in Oz years ago, I recommend spending a year or so there to make up your mind first... I went out there with the same thought, but it's not like here

Australia is expensive. Work is harder to find. Mining boom is over and everyone is feeling the pinch. Properties depending on state are just as much as UK. If not more and getting fully licenced over here is an headache... not a lot of milk and honey left. I live and work as a sparkie in Australia before I get the usual "What do you know"

You could emigrate to Hull...for 300K you can get a 4 bed detached small mansion....and we are all Cultural....well for 2017 anyway!!!. I went to a seminar ran by one of the emigration companies, I think it was Four Corners. For the entrance fee, which was about £30 they gave you an assessment of whether you would make it through the visa process and they gave lots of useful info.....I was all set to go about 20 years ago but the wife went and got herself pregnant so that changed many things!!!

One of our guys went and came back.

TWICE!

Cost him is house and savings basically.

So I presume it ain't all that.

However, I've always fancied Canada

Yeah me and the wife had a coin ---- I wanted to migrate to Canada and she wanted Australia. My current company is Canadian so who knows? I know they got a massive Oil and Gas project in Alberta.
