HI everyone I have just finished year 10 and I'm really looking forward to be working as an electrician just wanted to know.... what do the average electricians usually make. I searched this question in Google but it gave me totally different answers so yea thanks everyone :)

In my experience, electricians do not "make" anything.

Carpenters "make" things, builders "make" things, engineers "make" things, but electricians join bits of wire to things.

As a Time served, experienced, skilled Electrician your earnings should reflect the effort required to get to that stage.

It would appear however that the same amount of effort is required in jumping on the back of a Lorry and travelling across Europe. :speechless:
 
you could try asking an Australian company like Brookfield Multiplex, I heard $100,000 Australian Dollars for a new Electrician and up to $140,000 Australian Dollars after a few years......don't know if that's correct though, just what I heard about Australian rates,,,,,its probably $2 for a can of coke over there though so it probably works out at something like 40,000 UK pounds to 55,000 UK pounds.....something like that....for about 50 hours a week....
