Hi chaps,

What wire strippers are you using? I bought my third (RS243-257 or similar) but
after frequent use with 4mm tri rated the grippers wear out and the wire just slips through without stripping the insulation of. Are there any better products on the marked,
and where from?

Kind regards ...

some good bacho cutters,ive got some i bought in 93 and there as good as new with good use,the only thing i had to do was glue the plastic on one of the arms as it came loose..they were about ÂŁ32 in 1993 but i still use em..quality

I have a pair of the CK ones in the bottom of the toolbag somewhere......I think they're red???

I am on my third or fourth pair of them, brilliant.

Cheers...........Howard
Cant stand them myself, in the controls game we tend to use these type of automatic strippers;

Pheonix contact manufacture them (other manufacturers available) at about ÂŁ52.00, however the pair I own have lasted me 15 years (at least) and strip 0.25mm to 6mm tri-rated without trying to align fiddly stripping groves and are made from lightweight plastic.
