Guys,

Just doing one of the jobs for my NICEIC assemsment. I have fitted a spur socket in a partition wall back to back and have used a fire/acoustic metal dry lining box on one side, the other side is standard 35mm box. I have filled any holes with Acoustic/Intumensant sealant.

I do not see any problem with what I have done as it ticks all the boxes on Part B, Part E, and Part P. But would like other opions, just in case there is somthing I missed

Cheers

Sounds good to me mate, sounds like you have covered all necessary.................... Even if you have done something wrong your assessor will only tell you what to do to fix it, he aint gonna beast you as long as your work is safe. Too much is read into part P assessments. If you are safe and competent then no problems. We all make mistakes and so do the assessors because we are human.

I was under the impression accessories put back to back should be offset from one another, I may be making that up, mind.
