Bet that was interesting, have always regretted not joining the armed forces, was in the ATC in my teens loved it, wanted to join the RAF but got an apprenticeship in civvy street.

I left RAF contract on 31/12/19 After 9 years with them.
Spent 4 years in Cyprus, Year in India, Year in Falklands and the rest of the time in UK bases.
Then took on a few months at NHS Nightingale London.
Getting back in the swing of things and picking up work. Start 6m at a Pharma company in Worthing next week.

Welcome back,

Cyprus was the best posting I ever had, I was based in Akrotiri, down in the mole as a Chief Engineer on the heavy landing craft.

The weather was great, the hours we worked were great, and the price of a brandy sour in the mess was even better.

Monday’s were always a killer after a hard weekend on the bevvy. ????
