I presume many things are plugged in permanently, they all want to start up together when the power comes on, an initial surge to power them all causes the MCBs to trip.

The full lower house has fluros in range from 4 foot singles to twin 6 foots that would certainly go with the big inductive load idea and there on a type B this combined with all the things that are all ways plugged in would explain why this is happing thanks for the ideas guys much appreciated!
