Hi all!

Hope everyone is safe and well. I have a query and I believe I already know the answer but would like some input. So, I have a bathroom with a mirror. The client would like a vanity light. However, the centre of the light is exactly 600mm from the edge of zone 1. My issue is that the light is long and half of the fixture does go into Zone 2. I'm right in saying because the 2 lights on the bar will be within zone 2 this will not be compliant as there will be mains voltage within zone 2?

Thanks all!

TL;DR
Can a light that extends within zone 2 but the fixture is fitted 600mm from the edge of zone 1 be compliant?
all depends on the IPrating of the fixture. if it's IPX4 or better, no problem. and mains voltage is allowed both in zone 1 and 2. IP rating comlpiant. look at a shower!.240V in zone 1.
