Hello, does anybody have any experience with regards to a battery charging/servicing room?

I'm struggling to find the information which is applicable to the type that I am quoting for, so basically it's one big room at the moment that will be divided into three, one a general workshop, one will be a washroom both are quite straight forward then the third small section will be for battery charging/servicing it will be only for two or three 47AH batteries at a time for private jets.

This is something that I have never been involved in before and it's hard to find guidance on it as the only information I can find is for industrial scale where you need ATEX fittings etc and hydrogen monitoring.

From my research all I need is external isolation from the outside for general use sockets and a good amount of ventilation to dissipate the hydrogen

Any one have any experience?

It will be inspected afterwards by the CAA so that company can gain approval for the work.

Thanks Lewis

I would be speaking to the plane manufacturer and / or the battery manufacturer.

the battery type will make a huge difference to how they are stored and charged.
