Hi all. Hope your all having a good day. Does anyone know a timer that will operate to work a bell or siren with a stereo. To turn off the stereo and sound a bell for breaktime. Im having trouble. I cant find one that will work both. Thankyou. Luke

Does the place have a timeclock for clocking in and out, they can sometimes be used to operate sirens and the like. These timeclocks also allow for numerous start finish times, breaks etc. The switching of the stereo / bell is the easy bit, finding the right timer which can correct for daylight saving and have several timer points for breaks is the harder bit.
I have used these before, but not for the stereo :)
Digi Socket Box Timer

Hi. Thankyou for taking your time to reply. They have a timer for the stereo alreay but want a bell or siren adding to it as the lazy s**ts take there time getting off break. I had a look at the danfoss ones the 842 (pulse) will do the bell but not the siren as its 1-15 seconds. The 852 will do the stereo but not the bell as its minimum 15 seconds. I wanted to try and get them on one so that they would run sync together but not having any look.

Will draw schematic for you but need more info, is the music off a pa amp (100v line) and if so what make or are the just a few speakers off a radio

think itl be off a amp as theres loads of speakers throughout the factory, ill have a proper look tomorow. ill have a look at what timer is on there also. thankyou for your help chap

yes, ive saw the pulse timers that danfoss do (model 842). my heads hurting now. how would the pulse timer work the double pole relay. im not up to scratch with relays as youve proberly guessed. this is what i wanted it to do. bell sounds at start of the shift and then the radio starts up at 7.00am, at 10,30 bell sounds, radio turns off until 10.45 then bell sounds and radio starts, then 13,00 bell sounds, radio stops, 13,30 bell sounds radio starts until 4,00 bell sounds radio stops.
