Best gland options

New induction motor turned up at work today.

The entry options are now 20mm and 45mm.

The previous motor was wired in 5 core, 6mm S/Y, through a 32mm compression gland.

I would prefer to make the S/Y off with a proper cxt gland.

A cxt32 is the size I will need. I am not sure what size the body of the gland will be and how it will make off into the 45mm threaded cut out.

Would a reducer be the best option to suit the gland?

Any care to provide a link to a 45mm to 32mm and also a 45mm lock ring.

Edmo's dont do them. Cant find them online either

M45 is not a standard size, I expect it is a pg thread
Pg36 is 47mm across outside of thread.

So a male pg36 to m32 thread converter may do the job

Drill the 20mm hole out to 25mm or 32mm and just fit a gland with a backnut. Ignore the 47mm hole, it's a red herring designed to make you waste days looking for adaptors.

Other option is if the 47mm hole has a threaded blanking plug then drill the blanking plug to accept you fave sized gland and refit it.
