Anyone had issues with the RCD's? Added a spur from a new DB yesterday (not installed by me). The RCD failed the 5x test when tested at the load terminals with all mcb's off. Perplexed I tried the other RCD with the same result. MFT tested the RCD on another job later with results as expected.

Have you tried it with the RCD Load Neutral Terminal disconnected as well as the MCB'S switched off?

There are regular posts about how rubbish BG boards are but I've fitted plenty and never had any trouble at all, the enclosure is very robust and the busbar possibly the most substantial of them all, maybe I've just been lucky with the units I've fitted ?

Yes, I have had 2 BG RCDs faulty out of the box. Gave BG a good shot but had quality issues every single time I have used them. Utter garbage.

No I didn't test with the load N disconnected as it's not something I've ever had to do before with other boards...Will try that though.I've got to go back to investigate as clearly I cant do a MW for the spur I installed with the failed 5x test. PITA for a tuppence halfpenny job.
