this guy is crazy thought i would share this video this is scary o.o

I'll get shot for saying this, especially as I didn't watch all the video, but a lot of these guys who do silly stunts with leccy probably know ten times more about the theory and science of it than some of the so-called 'electricians' these days. A man who can build a coin shrinker out of scrap electronic parts or a tesla coil from household objects, might not know all the regs if he's not in the trade but probably won't need help finding a break in a CPC or understanding what makes an RCD trip.

This is a pieced together vid of alot of his work .... its made to look as though he's pulling the street supply down but it not the case the original vids do reflect he knows exactly what he's doing albeit he lacks in the safety area ...I mean he turning metal white hot inches from his attic carpet!!!

The guy seems like a nutter but it's an act because he's very very smart (ignoring the H&S stuff like white hot metal and man made fibre carpets), he did a video a while back in response to some of his critics and listed his qualifications, there's a lot of them.
He subcontracts to the MoD although he can't mention any of the projects he's worked on for obvious reasons.
It could of course be a load of BS but I can't see any reason why he'd lie.

The part where he burns up the meter is staged basically he is using a high currant low voltage ac transformer(just a basic ac welder) to burn out the shunt in the old style meter. look at the tails from 7mins on they are all in the outer terminals as the inner normally for the neutrals is just a junction box. the meter is connected to nothing else and hence no power failure.
