just started a rewire and the main fuse has blown. whose job is it to replace this? do i get the customer to phone their supplier? or get one from the wholesalers?

by rights, that is DNO's job. it's up to you whether you call them out for it or replace it yourself.

It's down to the DNO, it's their (sealed) equipment..... they're probably going to want to know whats caused it - any ideas?

(Or you get one out the back of the van if your fortunate like me, they've been there for a while and touch wood havent had to use one yet...)

don't know why it failed either, it's 100A, the 2 old wylex boards had 6 fuses totalling 85A and only one of the 30A ones was blown, it was a 6mm to the old shower
i'll just get a new one myself and pretend it never happened
