I am renovating a 2 bedroom flat that currently has no central heating and will rent out. Looking to the future I understand electric is best option but confused as to whether I should go with a combi boiler and hot water radiators or Rointe stand alone electric radiators? I cannot find an independent source of comparison. Hope you can help.

Gas still cheaper per kWh, but for how much longer depends on politics.

Electric heating is more reliable, more efficient, cleaner, more responsive, cheaper to install and generally better in all/most ways than water based systems other than running costs.

Historically gas has been 3-4 times cheaper than electric heating to run even allowing for the fact gas boilers are only circa 90% efficient and losses in pipework etc.
