Has anyone got one of these beauties? Ive had it repaired once and bosch fixed the drill and gave me 2 new batteries!
The problem i have now is that the batteries wont charge, the charger goes through the motions i.e all the lights tell me its charging, and the batteries "charge" in minutes , but when i remove the battery and put it in the drill it hasnt charged at all, i am of the mindset that the bateries are okay and that its the charger thats the problem.
So the reason i asked if anyone has one is to ask if anyone else has had this problem? And could anyone please plug their charger in and test both contacts to the screw (earth) of the socket its plugged into, i get 47 volts on each contact, is this right or not? Thanks fellas

i would suspect the charger. if the insides are not encapsulated, open it up and look for any obvious signs.

Without being harsh, as im the same at times...maybe its time to let go and upgrade?

Bosch are decent bits of kit, but for what its worth - isit just better to reinvest in something new?

Im a sentimental tw** though (if they've served me well) and i try repair my parts where possible though so i'm not one to really talk :)

before buying a new charger, try and find someone with one and try your batteries on theirs.

yes i use one to drill 5.5 and 6.5 holes . even drilled 20mm holes and just as good as my 240v sds. just bump and in..

what annoys me tho is there is so many models and range from 300 to £600...

Mines the compact model cost me £300 from screw fix about 18 months ago it came with two 1.3ah batteries charger and case. Hasn't got roto stop so can't chisel but for that my 110v drill comes out of the case and is dusted off.
