Advice needed - Have just purchased Beko single oven to replace Bosch single oven that is dying! The wiring to the Bosch oven is heavy duty to cooker box, and is too thick to connect to Beko oven, husband was hoping to just connect up with exsiting wiring to new oven, any suggestions how to get round this problem would be most welcome, or do we need to call in electrician and if so what is the going rate for this kind of job?

I would recommend calling in a electrician, cost wise they should give you a quote for free and tell you exactly what is needed. Shouldn't cost too much to convert it (if possible).

asa above^^^^^..... simple job for a spark.

Margareta - I'm south somerset if that's of any use to you, as others have said it sounds like a quick simple job.

Oh, how we LOL'd........
