hi all, i just completed my first year at college (level 2) and am now starting my second (level 3) jus wanting some advice realy and that of what it consists of and what standard would i be qualified up to when i have finished? like after gaining a few years of experience would i be able to set myself up with my own business? if anyone has any practice papers for level 3 it would be great.

Just finished level 3. Basically you are considered a 'competent electrician'. I have loads past papers but not in pc format. You can easily work for yourself with 2330 L3 but JIB want you to do an extra year and get NVQ3 which is a log book and AM2 exam (piece of ****) but they charge ya £800 for the privilge. I wouldn't bother personally.
