C&G 2356 NVQ L3 is it worth doing?

Hi all,

I need some guidance on the above please, will gaining the NVQ boost my chances of employment in the electrical industry?
as I understand the course changes over and last registration is end of July 2012

some background on me

30 years of age
achieved so far
2330 L2 , L3
2382 17th Ed
2391 I&T
with 3 years on the tools mainly domestic electrics

I had no luck in finding employment with the above after I was made redundant,
I appreciate the economic climate but it all seems to be a massive waste of
time, effort, and money with no end in sight.

It may not boost your chanes of employment but it will probaly get you your gold JIB card.
At the minute there are alot of sparkys looking for employment and most of them have experience which is what most employers are looking for.
