Discuss cable behind polystyrene plasterboard in the Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net
Evening guys.
T&E with plastic capping. Is this ok behind polystyrene plasterboard or does it still require to be tin? Getting conflicting messages from the suppliers.
Regards, chris
Both types of plasterboard will react with with standard PVC cable..
You can use either type of capping to protect the cable.
there is also some non migratory cables on the market that don't react
The button is on the left mateThank you for that.
what's tin got to do with it?
