Discuss Cable joint 1930's........................ in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I was taught to do wiped lead joints on air pressurised cables as an apprentice, similar to the video but without insulating pitch. Made a few after I finished my time but not very many because they'd already started a program for replacing them.
