Hi , can anybody help !Can you use a PAT tester which is 5 days out of calibration, I have been told that there is 28 days grace is that true ?

Of course you can use it, but if anything went wrong it would be difficult to defend yourself in court!

Some aspects you probably can and should check frequently anyway, such IR and bonding results using a calcard or similar test standard. But some of the tester's capabilities might be far harder to validate without quite expensive test gear.
