Of course you can use it, but if anything went wrong it would be difficult to defend yourself in court!

Some aspects you probably can and should check frequently anyway, such IR and bonding results using a calcard or similar test standard. But some of the tester's capabilities might be far harder to validate without quite expensive test gear.
 
When the law and common sense , meet we know the LAW has the final say .
( statistically -if it has been stable for a few years .. Probably OK ..
but that's Gambling with others lives = NOT Allowed any more )

..An all the SODDING paperwork.. (that self authenticates)
