HI, i've studied under the JTL aprentership scheme passed all my writen exams quafilied C&G 2351 but unforunatly when the time came to do my AM2 exam my company folded, i am now looking at doing my 17th edition update and wondered if anyone knows if they exept the C&G 2351 and a entry requirement or do i have to do all of it again C&G 2382-10. with my 2351would an empolyeer class me as a 'qualified electrication'? i.e gettin paid electricians wages?? Thanks

Hi there.

Do you have a 16th edition qualification??

If not then I think you would have to do the full 17th edition course (60 questions in a 2hr exam) as opposed to the update hich is 30 questions in a 1hr exam.

Also the definition of a "fully qualified electrician" is a hotly debated topic it depends on in who's eyes you wish to be classed as fully qualified i.e JIB.
