Candy Dryer won't turn?

Hello all,

I have a candy Free-standing dryer GCC 591NBB-80.

However it wont turn, it just makes a strange noise when I press it on.

If I manually turn drum with my hand it turns very freely.
Really would like to see if I could repair it rather than get someone out.
Any advice please?

I pulled out this object from the dryer. Is this a fan belt? Is it easy to replace or will I need to get someone out?

Yes that's the drive belt, wraps around the drum and the motor pulley.

I'm not sure on the Candy but usually you need to lay the dryer over onto it's front, take the back panel off and feed the belt over the drum and onto the motor pulley.

it's a simple job as above, but make sure to unplug the appliance before getting your mitts inside it.
