Hi recently moved into a house that has solar panels installed and Tesla power wall 2. It would appear some of the equipment is installed in the external meter box.
E.on are not able to install smart meter due to not enough space. As the meter is alot bigger that old metet

I would like to get this sorted. Has anyone got advice who I should contact and how much it should cost to sort outIMG_20191127_122323.jpg

Hi - I guess it was all put in there as there was no other suitable location at the time. It could be tidied up, but there is a limit to how much space can be made in there without relocating stuff. Did the Smart Meter folks say how much space they need?

Anyway, an experienced Electrician can sort it for you and many do free quotes.

If you don't actually want a smart meter (some people don't) then this might be a good excuse to not have one fitted!

Stick with the meter you have and save money !

A smart meter will save you no money and you won't have to fork out for an electrician to alter all the cupboard gubbins = money saved.
