Discuss catch 22, i dont want to work but have to for my supper! in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

kfc is closed for boiler repairs and ive been contacted to fit some water heaters for them, i was needing some of the colonels fried chicken tonight so looks like ive been sucked into working, for chicken!
Forget the chicken, grab a sack of the seasoning, get yourself a pressure fryer and it is kfc when you want at home.

Bill KFC then use the money to buy a chicken kebab elsewhere.....

glad i dont work in a kitchen, my classic reebs had me slippin n sliding about the kitchen, even knocked over a basket of utensils

I remember working at one high street KFC branch and they had a delivery of the breading flour which coats the chicken. One of the paper type sacks fell on the floor and split open everywhere. Out with the broom to sweep it up and put it into the breading table where the chicken was coated pre to frying.

i imagine alot of this goes on in these places, once kitchen we did an inspection on, the grime was unreal, this was a very "posh" restauraunt , pots and pans covered in old food, a fairly thick coating of grease throughout the kitchen that must have taken months/years to produce, almost being sick just thinking back to it

fast food is always a gamble, some folk take pride in their work even if it is just frying chicken, others not so much
