I was talking to a fellow spark today and he said I have gone about this wrong. But I disagree so I would like your opinions.
Been out to a property with and old rewirable fuse board.
(I don't know what that's defined as).
They had a spur out the back feeding a disconnected 2.5mm T&E feed in conduit to a garage shed.
The customer wanted the supply to the garage rienstated.
And an outside socket on the house.
So I installed an IP rated, RCD FCU and outside socket on the wall of the house and then glanded a new SWA to the socket, and ran it down the garden to be buried under slabs by a landscaper to the garage in which I also replaced a CU in the garage, and rewired the garage to include new lights and socket.
When it come to writing up the paperwork I did a minor works for the RCD FCU and socket, and a EIC for the board in the garage.
But my mate that was wrong and all I should have done was a EIC.
So are either of us right?
