Hey there,

I am a 3rd year part 1 apprentice atm, working for a domestic company based in ipswich, currently i am half way through my nvq and have another year left in part time college for testing and fault finding and two written exams.

I am looking to move into either industrial or commercial companies after i qualify. Can anyone give us some pro's and con's about each and whether it is worth moving when i qualify or to wait until we get out of this recession?

Cheers guys in advance :)

I wouldn't like to say if you should move company or not, but the more experience you get (domestic, commercial, industrial, testing, etc) the better it is for you as a spark.
personally I prefer commercial & industrial work cos it's varied.

if your happy with your firm then prob best to stay put, even if only to finish your nvq off, and gain experience as a spark before you go looking around.
