So I’ve took the casings of to look at the wires for one light. There are 2 of each brown blue and earth. The two earths go to the part that holds the bulb, the two blue meet in a connector with a wire coming out of that connector to the bulb component. Now one of the brown wires goes to the bulb but the other brown one isn’t attached to anything. Why is this? On the other light fitting it’s the same configuration just this time one blue wire isn’t connected to anything. The lights work fine. I’ve attached two pictures, I just want to understand what these wires are for and why they aren’t connected?
