Chasing out

This may a simple question sorry if you are installing sockets and the floors are concerte would u chase them out or drop down cables from above floor space in a old house or new build

Why would you want to chase out concrete floors.Seems like hard work and time consuming.Me personally i would drop the cables from above and put them in trunking if surface mounted or chase the wall out and cap the cablesAs long as they're in the safe zone

Yep I agree with the above sounds like an awful lot of work otherwise

If you are working on a new build and there are concrete floors in place, chances are they are bison slabs, it is a huge nono to interfere with a bison slab, and could lead to jail if you were to do something that resulted in a colapse.
