Fitting new downlighters (2 independent lamps) and was planning on adding them to the end of the lighting circuit in my loft using a suitably rated terminal strip, inside a surface mounted plastic enclosure.

Read somewhere that this wasn't compliant, can someone enlighten me? Have I got the wrong end of the stick somewhere?

Only just learning the building regs and 7671, so I'm pretty new to this. Been doing dodgy DIY myself for years, but trying to do everything properly from now on...

as long as it's accessible, no problem. i would prefer to use wagos though.
