I'm clearing up unused accounts on most of the forums.

So if people haven't confirmed their new account within 30 days, I'm assuming they're not going to and they'll be erased.
If people haven't logged into the forum for 300 days, and have no posts under their account, I'm assuming they don't want their account anymore and they'll be erased.
If people have less than 20 posts and haven't used the forum for 800 days, I'm assuming they're not using the forum anymore, so I'll erase their account.
If people have any amount of posts but haven't used the forum for 1200 days, I'm assuming they're dead or something, and will erase their account.

Of course any of the above can reregister for free at any time in the future.

So I'll hit you back with your new forum member count once I've completed all the above which I've nearly finished doing now. We're on about 40,000 now from 56,000 or something. So quite a few have been erased already.

34,970 is the new figure.

Those should be all genuine used (or about to be used) accounts there now.

It's a figure that would jump around a lot depending on what settings we're using that month.

But this process clears out unused accounts which never do us any favours really.
