communication error on sonnen Macht inverter

we are going out to see someone who had a sonnen macht 3kw inverter installed a few years ago. It is showing a 'communication error' and has stopped working for 2 days. I can't find any information on this inverter as i understand the company was dissolved in 2017 and we didn't install this so unfamiliar with the inverter.

Has anyone dealt with this error on the inverter before or have a copy of the installation manual they can send my way?

It's German.....so it is probably craving more power!!lol

Check the AC and DC sides. Confirm supply and array is all good first. Does it connect to wifi? If it still runs maybe the customer won't care about that? If it is a few years old, offer to change it out for something reliable from SMA or Fronius.
