As a sole trader, what is my position in my "company"? E.g. for test certificates and other general forms / documentation?

What's generally used in this situation?

Either 'Proprietor' or 'Sole Trader'. You'll quite often find that 'Sole trader' is offered as one of the choices along with 'Director' etc.

Duty holder?
The Inspector is the duty holder whilst they are carrying out the inspection.
They cease to be the duty holder once the inspection is concluded.
The person in charge of the installation then reverts to being the duty holder.

so for a periodic for example you would sign as the "duty holder" ?. as at the time you were the duty holder.
i suppose you can write what every you like tho.

Or maybe "Qualified Supervisor"?

Actually, I've been using either sole trader or proprietor, but I'm just starting out so I wondered what others were using

It's one of those things that can be viewed a couple of was really. Yes, Inspector/QS/Duty Holder in terms of the specific descriptions, but if you're a sole trader you're all of those (and more).
