Discuss CompEX Books in the Electrician Courses : Electrical Quals area at ElectriciansForums.net

Whats required is the Practitioner's Handbook - Electrical Installation, Inspection and Maintenance in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres by EEMUA

Plus BS EN 60079 Pt 14 & 17

Jobbo is right. The book you require is EEMUA book 186. Fifth edition. I think its about £90 and you can get it direct from EEMUA. There is a smaller one, a cut down version called the Toolbox guide.

The book you found is out of date as the standard IEC 60079 changed in 2007. It wont have info about EPLs or the changes in glanding standards for Ex e or Ex n
