Discuss Compex which gland?? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi
I am doing my Compex refresher in a few weeks and my mate has just completed it but was given the attached slide and obviously was on the understanding this is the correct gland that needed to be chosen an Exe non armoured, but the lecturer told him this is incorrect and he should have chosen a Exd gland??, can anyone please tell me who is right and who his wrong??, many thanks

An Ex d gland for Ex ia equipment?? The instructor is talking through his ........

The current refresher format used there is as clear as mud!
