I think what you have pictured is an American hand bender for EMT conduit. I doubt it would be good enough for our conduit. Also, as mentioned, how would you thread it?

I have seen these benders in the wholesalers, but not really paid much attention..
i just got the pic from Internet ... Wasn't sure if it was us or uk... Might be uuseful for adjustments after threading?

Already got a hilmore....... Starting a new site tomorrow
(Refurb 1950 1960 building)A fair bit of galv conduit to do...thought it might be useful ...I didn't want to drag the bender around the site..ever used one?

Last site i was on i dragged a bender round with me, he was bloody useless too!

Tell me about it ...... I have two of them - both are sadly my sons.

Just this afternoon one of them managed to fall of a ladder while cutting the hedge.

He's only just returned from hospital where nothing of concern was found - apart from him being a bender that is.

So he landed on his head and missed his brain by 4 feet? :biggrin5:

Used one?? I have the misfortune to be the Father to one of them and another that isn't quite sure yet. I wish I could find a use for them !!!

You got it in one pet ........ It's bad enough that the bloody idiot managed to fall in the first place, but it's something else when he was so stupid as to not know how to land properly.

I'm speechless ..... almost!!
