can anyone help me im sitting my 2330 level 3 in a few weeks and been going over some past papers and found a question on conduit capacity, which if i use all the factors etc, the length was 12 meters, the table in the onsite guide only goes up to 10 meters, what would i then need to do?

what is the question specifically? if its about how many cables you can fit in a conduit then i believe you have to leave 55% air and the rest can be cable

Use OSG Appendix E, table E3 for straight runs of conduit over 3m long or table E4 for long straight runs incorporating bends.

Hi guys thanks for all your help,I have worked out the cable factors and added them up but what i dont understand is when looking at table to find the actual size of conduit requird where it says legth of conduit it only goes up to 10 meters im trying to find the answer for 12 meters including 4 bends, and if i went to 10 meters with 4 bends its blank, i have a cable factor of 164, the detail was as follows, run of 12meters,has 4 bends 4 x 2.5mm, 2 x 1.5mm single core copper cable, calculate the minimum size conduit that could be used allowing for the 45% rule, any help would be great, thanks

use table 5C in the red OSG. " runs of any length incorporating bends"

Ok Thanks, Ive just dug my red book out and got the cable factors adds up to 164, do i then go to table 5D and choose the nearest upper number eg 182 =20mm? thanks
