Discuss Confused by cable selection tables. in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

Studying the Electricians and On Site Guide tables (for my Domestic Electricians course with OLCI) and the cable sizes all have double entries in the tables 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3. That is the Cable csa for different circuits show 2.5/1.5, 6/2.5 etc.

I understand the need for different csa for different circuits, but why are there 2 figures for each circuit?

Thanks
