Hi thanks for helping if you can.

What are the differences between this two courses?

I am trying to decide a course to start in Sept and between this two I am unsure which one is best.

Also to add the course 2356. What is this course's standing in relation to 2330.

The 2360 was the old course which has no been replaced by the 2330!

The 2356 is the NVQ3 which you will have to do in order to get "Qualified Electrician" status, it is a load of on the job assessments to prove to the assessor that you are competent, once passed you can call yourself a qualified electrician, NVQ3 you have to do whilst on the tools!

Hope this helps:)

It does help thanks, only confused about one thing now. How do 2330 and 2356 connect?

There is no more 2360 it has been replaced by the 2330. They are the same but with a different number!!

Ok once you have done your 2330, you apply to do your 2356 and receive a list of jobs that you need to do. Called assessments! When you take on one of the jobs that are on the list, you phone your assessor tell them where and when the work will be and he'll come out and watch you work. Once you have finished and passed all the assessments on the sheet, you will have gained your 2356 NVQ3
