Hi
I currently have a normal mains cable from the house to the shed where a consumer unit is used to connect the shed and a 3 core armoured cable runs from there to the workshop and a second consumer unit.
I need to move the shed.
The armoured cable wont reach the house. How can I connect the mains to the armoured by way of an outdoor connector. This will only be temporary so a simple solution would be ideal.
Thanks

Temporary or permanent, makes no difference to the standards it should meet.

Do it right, or not at all.

P.s. sorry if it’s not the solution you had hoped for.

If your 'mains cable' is T&E, definitely not advisable.
As above, a good and proper installation is needed. If a temporary supply is needed, get someone qualified to sort it (certifiable) with a view to making permanent.
