mid the wiring is in containment on the surface, you’re stuck with a bulkhead light I’m afraid. Nothing decorative.
Can’t you come in from behind? Inside the building
Agree. I’ve fitted a few similar luminaries on plastic conduit boxes, with no issues. Sometimes the mounting plate for the light, had to be drilled for the fixing screws.mount light on a conduit box. might need to fit an oversize box lid. hole in lid for flex tolight.
I like this idea, you could mount the joint box at a lower level if this helps appearance wise, then run the outdoor flex up to the light. With that style of light I filed a little of the backing plate at the bottom, this allows the flex to pass through.

Just mount a bell box on the surface of the wall then add your light. Yes flex it inI like this idea, you could mount the joint box at a lower level if this helps appearance wise, then run the outdoor flex up to the light.
You could also use MICC and terminate earth tail pots inside the plastic base, as I did home here.
