Hi guys,
Just after a bit of advice. We are trying to connect a velux smoke vent system (kfx100) to a Fike twin flexor fire alarm system. I've read the instructions for both systems over and over and I'm still not sure on what terminals to connect into in the fire alarm panel. Has anybody done these before or have any advice? Many thanks

Looks like connections 4 and 5 which it states can be used with an automatic smoke detector or a remote panel.
So from aux terminals (volt free/clean) in panel to 4 and 5 with a fire rated cable.

Has it been approved by the fire officer, being automatic as sometimes they want it manual to be used by them only. Theory being that it can feed a fire.
The other side of it being that air is possibly provided for people escaping, the lesser of 2 evils.

Is this domestic or commercial?

The Velux is setup for conventional smoke detection, so will need a 470 ohm resistor to trigger the panel.
Hope this will help
