Connection from 6mm to 4mm cable

Advice needed please! I have a 6mm supply from CU to an outside box. From there, a 4mm SWA cable has been run and a Garage CU install at the other end. What is the best way (and with what) to connect the 6mm cable to the 4mm cable? Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance

The 221 series will do 6mm as long as you get the larger size.

Yes wago 221 do a 41 amp taking upto 6mm
The 41 amp push fit ones are still good tho

221-6xx were released later than the 221-4xx but they have been around for a couple of years now I think.

How come someone has run the cable but not connected it up?

Are both cables already in the outside box?

Is it a waterproof box (never assume...)?

As already mentioned, why has it been left in a partially finished state?

Connecting the wires is the easier job to do, checking that it is all working correctly is something that any professional would do and requires a lot more in the way of test equipment and the knowledge of how to use it.
