Hi chaps just regarding c/u i have a 16th with an rcd isolator and just for assessments purposes do i have to upgrade to a 17th c/u or just note on certs that an upgrade is needed

Thanks.

It depends on the type of earthing arrangements and what sort of work you carried out.

RCD main switch is not suitable for 16th or 17th unless the install is TT and even then its borderline.

Give us a bit more info:)

Thanks for that its just i was going to use that install as my assessment is due soon eg minor job, then realised c/u was not up to scratch and what will be required at this stage really before assessment
